KT Entertainments was established in 2006 and has spent the last 20 years working at events across Surrey, Sussex, London and the wider South East.
We started with DJs and have grown into a wider range of entertainment and event hire, from dance floors and photo booths to casino tables, lighting, décor and more.
We’ve worked with couples, private clients, venues and some well-known businesses over the years, and we’re still very hands-on. When you get in touch, you’re dealing with people who understand what goes into putting an event together because we’re the ones who actually work at them.
20 years of experience
We’ve been working in the events industry since 2006, so we’ve seen quite a few different types of events over the years.
We’ve worked with couples planning their weddings, businesses putting on events for their teams and clients, and families and friends looking for entertainment for parties and celebrations.
That experience means we know that no two events are quite the same. Venues have different layouts and requirements, timings can change, and sometimes several suppliers need to work around each other to get everything ready.
We’ve built strong relationships with venues and event teams across the South East along the way, and we’re familiar faces at many of them. We know the practical side of setting up and running an event, not just the entertainment itself.
From DJs to a wider range of event hire
We started out with DJs, and music is still a big part of what we do. Over the years, though, we’ve added more services as we’ve seen what our clients and venues actually need.
Today, that includes dance floors, photo booths and magic mirrors, casino tables, lighting, draping, venue décor, garden games and more.
Some clients come to us simply looking for a DJ. Others want to put several things together and would rather deal with one team for the evening.
We’ve grown that way quite naturally. We haven’t tried to become everything to everyone — we’ve added services that make sense alongside the events we’re already working on.
Working with KT Entertainments
We’re a hands-on team, and that’s important to us.
When you book with KT Entertainments, you’re not just choosing equipment from a list. We talk through what you’re planning, answer questions, work with your venue where needed and make sure we know what’s happening before the event.
On the day, our team handles the setup, runs the entertainment and takes everything down afterwards. We know that there can be a lot going on behind the scenes at an event, so our job is to make our part of it as straightforward as possible.
Whether you’ve booked one service or several, we’ll make sure everything we’ve been booked to provide is ready to go.
Who we work with
We work with all sorts of clients, from couples planning their wedding and families organising a party to businesses arranging events for their teams, clients or customers.
We’ve provided entertainment and event hire for companies including McLaren, Jack Daniel’s, Bucherer, Jacob & Co., Young’s, Taylor Wimpey, The Jockey Club and the NHS, as well as working closely with wedding venues, event teams and private clients across the South East.
Some clients come to us knowing exactly what they want, while others want to talk through the options and put a few different elements together. We’re comfortable with both, and we’re used to adapting what we provide to suit the event, the venue and the people we’re working with.
Recognised for what we do
Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to receive some recognition for the work we do.
We’ve been named a Hitched Wedding Awards winner in 2024, 2025 and 2026, and have also been finalists in the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards in 2025 and 2026.
We’re proud of the awards, but we’re even more pleased that they’re based on feedback from people who have actually experienced our service. That’s the part that matters most to us.
Where we work
We work across Surrey, Sussex, London and the wider South East, and over the years we’ve become familiar faces at a lot of venues along the way.
We’ve provided entertainment and event hire at wedding venues and country houses such as Great Fosters, Alexander House, Barnett Hill, Hever Castle, Wotton House and Hartsfield Manor, as well as larger and more unusual venues including West Horsley Place, Silverstone Circuit and the McLaren Technology Centre.
In London, we’ve worked at venues including 116 Pall Mall and the W Hotel London, alongside private event spaces, corporate venues and other locations.
Knowing the venues we work at well can make a real difference. We understand the practical side of getting equipment in, working around venue timings and setting everything up properly — but we’re just as happy working somewhere new.

The people you speak to when you’re planning your event are part of the same team involved in making it happen.
We don’t want the process to feel complicated or impersonal, so we’re always happy to talk things through, answer questions and help where we can.
After 20 years in the events industry, we’ve learned that the small details matter. Knowing the venue, understanding how an event is going to run and having a good feel for what will work in the space all come from experience — and that’s something we bring to every event we work on.
